INVESTMENT
This fabulous 'dream' car represents a serious investment of time, finance and manpower. It all began in December 2009. It is estimated that the work took about 9,000 + hours of chopping, stretching, clipping, welding, grinding, and serious metal work, paint and tweaking.
The polishing alone took a record 250 hours!
Of note, since the car was rebuilt, it has logged under 25 miles on the odometer, just getting in and out of the trailer - and onto the show floor!
CUSTOM HOTWHEELS - STALETO!
Lawrie McLeod
Master detailer and owner of LM's Detailing (Edmonton, AB), found a 49 Merc Hotwheels car and replicated STALETO in miniature scale as a special gift for Rick...in every detail. Now if only he can find a Gretsch Country Gentleman guitar to complete the set!
